I had a 7:30 appt this morning and was told to arrive by 7:15 to get checked in and have my blood sugar numbers uploaded. I was there, in the dark, until 7:45ish when someone finally opened the check in window. I literally had the phone number pulled up and was going to walk out and cancel. I see Amanda Kilgore and she was amazing! I don't blame her at all! I am mad because I was then late for work and now have to use PTO or Vacation to make up the time which is uncalled for. Terrible customer service/office staff. A minimum of 20 minutes on hold to talk to anyone any time that you call in on top of dealing with clerical errors constantly. I have no complaints with my doctor but, dealing with anything other than the doctor herself is a nightmare that I avoid at all costs.
My daughter seen Dr de Villa today and I can say it was a breath of fresh air. He thoroughly explained the thyroid and medication. He was very patient with my daughter and let her tell him what was going on and how she was feeling. You can tell this Dr loved his job by the high quality care he provided. The nurse, Cindy, was beyond amazing. And the front desk was very professional.I will recommend this office to anyone with thyroid issues.
Dr. Casis was very helpful. He made sure I understood what he was telling me and why. He also gave me treatment choices rather than just prescribing in his own. I would choose him again and I would recommend him.
