Trenette and Tiffany at Penny Lane Salon are absolutely wonderul! Every visit I make to the salon is a great experience. They are very updeat and fun to be around! Trenette has been cutting/coloring my hair since 2008 and she does an excellent job. I have NEVER left their salon disappointed. Infact, I have never seen a client walk out of their salon not 100% satisfied while I was there. The prices are very affordable and she always knows exactly what I want. I would definitely refer friends and family!
I had color, highlights and cut with Trenette and all went well. My color and highlights look fantastic. I explained that I am wanting to grow my hair longer and did not want too much cut. Trenette listened and cut, layered, and styled my hair just like I requested. She did not take too much off. Overall, I had a pleasant experience. Both Trenette and her sister, Tiffany, were courteous and caring. I made a 2nd appointment.
Had absolutely NEGATIVE experience. I had to call for two days in order to set an appointment. In two days finally the receptionist returned my call. (Why to have a receptionist if she doesn't do her job??!!!!) When I arrived for my appointment, they cancelled it. But they forgot to inform me. And Trenette was talking rude to me, because I started to complain, that they have no right to waste my time. Again I spent two days to set an appointment. Terrible hairstylists, working at an over priced salon. Nothing is redeeming about this place. Do not go.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. Penny Lane Salon is run by two sisters, Trenette and Tiffany and I honesty have no idea how they got their cosmetology licenses. When I went to get my hair done, they acted like they had no idea I was coming. I had booked my appt two weeks in advance. The entire time I was there, they talked to each other and to the other customers that they already knew but not me. I had to basically raise my hand to get their attention. I don't think they have been doing this long or they just don't care... Left a HUGE section of my hair brown when they dyed it blonde... I had to go elsewhere to have it fixed after having Tiffany try to fix it multiple times...after almost going to Sally's and buying my own supplies... They charge extra for EVERYTHING. Toner, long hair, etc etc... Who charges extra for toner?!!! I guess I understand long hair but come on....
