A few weeks ago my disabled husband and myself went into Bellevue Health Care to look at Upwalkers. We talked to Bogdan, who was very pleasant and helpful. After a full day of calling companies and looking online for a piece of prescribed medical equipment, I began to think I was shopping for a used car. A lot of the medical supply companies seem to think that using an automated call service that keeps customers on hold forever is okay. What a fantastic place. I was visiting the Tacoma area and needed a cushion for my CPAP machine. The manager was very knowledgeable and did his best to find what I needed. Highly recommended!
Bogdan was the best. He was very professional and so helpful. We weren’t even on schedule and he made it work. 10/10.
Ableist staff. The staff working on June 8, 2026 is ignorant, rude, and needs training on invisible disabilities & ableism. I went in with a DME prescription for a wheelchair, was cut off while talking twice, and told: “You look like you walk fine”. I have hEDS, POTS, Endo, Fibro, and more (not that anyone should have to diagnosis drop to justify their need for mobility aids) and am frequently bed bound during flares.
