If you're looking for a low-cost vet, this may be an option. If you're looking for thorough, consistent, and competent care, this has not been my experience, and I would advise against using this veterinary facility. Communication and organization have been ongoing issues. I've received emails stating my dogs needed vaccines, scheduled appointments accordingly, and then been told upon arrival that nothing was actually needed. Having worked for a Vet Clinic in Texas for several years before retiring to Summerfield, FL - I can honestly say that BVH has an amazing staff - very competent techs and exceptional Vets - and that's coming from a person who raised working Blue Heelers for 25 yrs on our Quarter Horse ranch (shipped them all over the US as well as internationally) and Japanese Bobtail cats (more recently since retiring) so I feel very qualified in saying that BVH is by far the best choice in Marion County when it comes to choosing quality Ve... read more
