Best Service, Best Price Bellemore Animal Hospital is without a doubt the best veterinarian in Granite City. They are caring, highly skilled, and inexpensive. They really go the extra mile -- but don't charge the extra dollar! I first learned of Bellemore when I found a tiny kitten, nearly dead with several broken bones, by the side of Rt. 3 last Christmas. Amazingly, they pulled her through, and I adopted her. Wonderful Vet My first encounter with Bellemore Animal Hospital was out of default. It was time to put my dog to sleep, and I couldn't bear to take him to the vet that we always used for fear that I would not be able to return with other animals after such a traumatic experience. kitten died during spaying I took my kitten in to be spayed. She was healthy, proper age /weight and passed her pre-surgery exam. I called later in the day to see how she was doing and the receptionist said the vet would call me back. The vet called and said she died and couldn't breathe on her own coming out of anesthesia. I guess that could happen anywhere but I will not be going back there again. The people were nice.
Great service and great price. Last year when I was losing my cat, Dr. Fischer did everything she could to save her. They went out of their way to help me with her, and then didn't charge half what another vet would have charged to help her. I take all three of my cats and my dog to her. I hope her and her staff will continue to be at the end of my street for good.
Dr. Fischer and the Bellemore staff is AMAZING! My baby girl Cammi got really sick and when the Collinsville hospital wouldn't do anything even though she was dying in their office, Bellemore took her right in. As soon as they saw how sick she was they got Cammi right into surgery. She is now recovering from everything and Dr. Fischer says she knows Cammi will make it through! The prices are the best around and the whole staff is too! I will never take my puppy anywhere else!

After using them for routine visits for the first year we discovered that the next year one of our Goldens was very sick, they all worked so hard to help save our Cedar. Dr. Fischer & Staff I have had the pleasure of Dr. Fischer caring for my dog now for over two years. My trips to her office have been mostly for scheduled exams, etc. However, on a few occasions, I needed Dr. Fischer's assistance in caring for my dog unexpectedly and regardless of her busy schedule, she took us right in. I learned on one occasion, Dr. Fischer and her assistant, Dee spent the night at the animal hospital to watch over my dog as his health was in danger, and they stayed with him to see him through the night!
