Would give zero stars if I could. They will steal from you. Don’t bother stopping at this location, continue on to the Avon one. Gave this one a chance today, it took two and a half hours to patch a single tire. By the time I got my vehicle back, my center console had been rummaged through. The things they stole were trivial, such as a couple of Taco Bell coupons & cigarettes. However, it’s the principle of a stranger rummaging through my items in the time they made me wait. Can’t trust these guys.
I’ve had a great experience with the team at Belle Tire in Plainfield. I originally purchased a set of tires here a while back, and recently they just didn’t feel quite right while driving. I stopped in and worked with Shelley, who was excellent from start to finish. She had the vehicle pulled into the shop quickly, took the concern seriously, and made sure the team checked everything thoroughly. Avoid coming here. I came here yesterday to get an inspection for my air box. They told me there's nothing wrong with it, but told me I need to replace my front Calipers and to replace pads and rotors and was to charge me $1100. So I went to Ray Skillman Chevrolet to get a second opinion. They showed me and my front brakes looks good and no need to replace them. Belle Tire of Plainfield almost scammed me $1100.
Awful customer services and communication 3/12 I took an after market wheel with a new tire to be mounted and balanced. They scratched the new wheel up so they said they had a guy that could fix it but it would be Tuesday or Wednesday before I would get it back. Tuesday 3/17 they called and said it was done. People who care work here, Mike, specifically, but everyone is amazing here. I know it’s a national business, but the people who work there are our neighbors. They are locals and they care. I went in with a frozen budget, there was no wiggle room. I needed all parts of the front brakes, oil change, new battery, wheel bearings, even wiper blades. They were able to get it done at an amazing price, keeping me under budget and keeping my kids safe in our Suburban. I will go back again and again for all of my mechanic needs.
