Homemade does not necessarily mean good food. The food was sub-par and the service was odd.
Eric is an awesome waiter! The food is good and the atmosphere is homey.
Chicken fried steak was very good, however, the gravy on it and the biscuits and gravy was bland. Prices were way high. $4.95 for a soft drink. Breakfast almost $50 for two with tip. Service was excellent. We were greeted and treated well.
The food was very good. The man that was there, Seemed to me to be the manager, was very nice and friendly. The young waitress that was there Sunday evening however was not pleasant at all. She was quite rude. I asked for a refill of iced tea and she looked at us like we were disturbing her from rolling her silver in the napkins. When she did come over to refill the cup, she snatched my cup up off the table very rudely to go refill it and gave us the dirtiest look. Just a little phony and a little rude food just okay nothing special
My guy and I shared the chicken fried steak. It was delicious. The servers are always friendly and professional and the establishment is always clean. We drove from Elko just for breakfast..
The food was good. Portions were large. Our server was great. If you are ever driving through Wells give them a try���
