Innovative, fresh and consistent flavors, good wine selection and service. All neighborhoods would be fortunate to have a place like this.
Have always had an enjoyable meal here. When crowded, it can be very noisy so we usually try to reserve a later time slot. . . quieter and easier street parking too.
Bellanico is one of Oakland's gems. Located on Park Boulevard, they serve up sumptuous dishes accompanied by excellent wines and desserts.
This is my wife's favorite place . We always go two , three times a year and definitely the last two restaurant weeks. The service is very good as are every enter we have ever had. Yesterday our primi was Gnocchi a la carbonara, it was was exquisite. For segundi wifey had the chuck roast in a wonderful gravy with vegetables. The meat just kind of melt in your mouth. Excellent Food, wonderful service, it's only drawback is the cramped seating and loud environment. That being said, it is well worth going there and enjoying a great meal with people care about (no frienenemies allowed!).
