Dr.bellah is kinda harsh to make you a better person, at first when I was treated by him I hated him with a passion, after several appointments later I started to see his way of treating patient's than soon after I've noticed that he is harsh with some sort of helping. I met him at a psych ward in methodist the only reason I liked him is because he would stop all of my medications and make me take less at that time it was fine. WARNING: If you’re looking for continuity of care and you have been previously prescribed controlled medication for legitimate reasons by another provider, this person will not prescribe you your medications. Do NOT waste your time. If this is the situation you are in, then this is not only a waste of your time, but it is also a dangerous practice of medicine considering you can’t cut certain medications cold turkey. It literally can kill you. Hope this helps others.
This dude did absolutely nothing to help me or understand me AT ALL. He just there for a paycheck he does not care about his patients and is very quick to assumptions about our lives that aren’t true. He should not be a psychiatrist. If I could rate 0 stars I would.
He was very condescending and rude. He also never came to the facility I was made to go to and the staff informed him everyday that I did not belong in the facility, but he didn’t seem to care that I was fine and still tried to put me on an antidepressant. Now I understand that he’s dealing with people that are mentally unstable that say everyday that they are fine but I feel like the way I was acting was completely normal for someone in my situation to handle it the way I handled it.
