My soup was forgotten, my friend's main course was 15 minutes behind the other three of us eating, and our waitress seemed clueless about it all. My bill was 37.92 and I hand her $40. My change was $5 even??? Good night. I ordered the special which was shrimp with butternut ravioli, but probably should have been call onion, with some pasta, and more onion. So very, very disappointing. It will be a while before we venture back...

do not order their lunch special lasanga. it's literally one layer of pasta with their Bolognese sauce dumped on top. the flavors of the sauce were all over the place and way too rich for a true Bolognese sauce. maybe I'm just not well read into authentic Italian cuisine, but this was easily the worst 'lasagna' I've had. Service and everything else was fine.
Was seated promptly outdoors. Waters delivered quickly - said our server would be by soon. 10 minutes later she shows up to deliver more water. We order an expensive bottle of wine and after another 12+ minutes a no show. Meanwhile table by us gets seated and wine immediately. I liked this place and it could be an isolated incident but most likely no return for me. We walked out.

I'm disappointed to see such negative responses here as the comments don't match up with the service and meal we experienced. When asking my significant other (who is a former culinary arts instructor) where he'd like to go for our next nice date night, he could have chosen dozens of great restaurants in the Omaha/Elkhorn area, but he chose Bella Vita. We can't wait to go back!!
