The Bella Vista Ranch is a family-owned farm that grows olives, grapes and other Mediterranean style fruit and veggies. Each Fall, we harvest our 2,000 olive trees and press them immediately onsite in our modern centrifruge press. We also have a small vineyard and create boutique, Hill Country varietal wines (and even a few fruit wines!) I think they charged way to much for the e one tasting. Very small and only a couple of the wines were really good.
We love to visit but we buy their traditional Balsamic Vinegar six at a time. It's the best!
Super disappointed in the customer service. Both the lady and the gentleman that run the place were very rude and short with us. Their products are not made by them in Wimberley and when asked about that they became extremely defensive. Beautiful place that has a lot of potential if they were friendly and cared about the experience people want from that kind of place... but the vibe is anything but friendly and welcoming. Disappointing, at best. Arrogant and rude are probably the nicest things I can say about the owner. Two people fell out of the cheap plastic chairs, because they collapsed- all the owner could come up with was, "did you break my chair?" Perhaps try, "are you ok?" You really don't need to try to impress people with how smart you are. Maybe share some information and have a conversation with the folks who have just paid money. One of the best and most Informative Tours I've been on. The owner was extremely knowledgeable about history, olives and olive oil. I'm bringing more friends to experience the world of olives.
The guy was an arrogant asshole from hell. He insulted me and my guests in front of the entire group. Ask the Wimberley locals what they think of that dirt bag.
