I kept hearing how good this restaurant was. I am so glad we made it there this trip. Our meal was so fresh! We shared the baked calamari as the appetizer. The calamari was so tender and the polenta sweet. I had the veal with artichokes, peas, and mushrooms. Marvelous! The waiter was knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing. We will definitely return when in town again.
Whenever I'm in Salem I stop at Bella Verona's! They have amazing food and excellent service!
My husband and I took a friend of ours from out of state here because of a recommendation from a friend. The BEST pumpkin ravioli I have ever had in my entire life!!

Had a great meal, started with Kale Soup, sounds like healthy but was it good!!! Then Eggplant and Shrimp as an appetizer�, also excellent, finally Shrimp Scampi which had always been one of my favorite meals, cook perfect, shrimp were Hugh and the Pasta was perfect!!! A must if you like Italian!!!! And wait staff is the best snd say hi to the owner Georgio!!!
A lovely quiet atmosphere. Very homey and inviting feeling. Food and service were very good.
