Thought I would try Bella U Salon for a Malibu hair treatment. I was able to get in right away with Katie. After the treatment I realized how blonde my hair really was. I needed a change! I asked Katie for her opinion, what would she do with my hair, as she could see, many years of a simple trim and hi-lights my hair looked my hair looked blah and outdated. This is the cleanest, best salon in Alpena! I've had Jess cut and color my hair for over 5 years now. She also does pedicures and shellac manicures for me. It's a fun, welcoming place and they listen to you and make suggestions, but they'll respect whatever style you want. In regard to the poor review on here, I know they have this place confused with the nail salon in the same mall. There has NEVER been a man working here and I've yet to see a single drop of blood! I would just like to defend a previous complaint about this salon. I noticed that the complaint was about a male stylist not doing his job properly and I just wanted to say that Bella U Salon does not have any male emplyees. Perhaps the customer is confused with the nail salon also located in the mall? This major mix up is unfortunate. Bella U Salon is a very clean, nice salon to visit!

Hands down, the BEST place to get a haircut for men! Jess has been cutting my hair for over 1 year and I will only go to her. This place is fun, hip and great for everyone. They have drinks while you wait and music that relaxes you. Everytime I go there the seats are full but the wait time is quick. Make sure you make an appointment so things go smoothly. They stay up to date with styles and will make sure you LOVE your new do. Recommend this place to everyone.

Bella U Salon is one of the nicest salons in the area. My experience there was amazing. I would recommend this salon to anyone!!!!
