My experience at Bella Terra was a nightmare. I wouldn't send my sick dog there. Of course their webpage only shows positive reviews, but that page doesn't tell the truth about them. Their food is terrible and full of grease. The PCP I was assigned to was the most arrogant and rude male doctor I've ever had. The nursing staff is understaffed, but unprofessional too. On a tour before selecting the facility for my dad, they only show you the 1st floor, all the nice and shiny stuff. After my dad was admitted, the transport crew took him to his bed, signed the transfer and left. No one came to see how things were until I alerted the staff he fell to the floor trying to use the urinal. Staff finally arrived and informed me that he had to stay in his bed until evaluated by therapy. He was never oriented on what to expect, meal times, shower use or medication distribution. Where do I Start? It has taken me about 4 months just to get my thoughts together about this place. I would suggest not taking any of your loved ones to this place. Yes, it is neat and clean, but the nurses are understaffed too much for a place like this, and some employees do not deserve to work there in my opinion. Corporate America has lost sight of what the needs of the sick, elderly, and families making hard decisions needed due to greed.
