My husband and I were interested in trying Bella Piatti (Beautiful Plate) in Birmingham because it is owned by Nino Cutraro, the brother of Luigi Cutraro, who owns our favorite Sicilian restaurant, Trattoria da Luigi in Royal Oak. The best we could get by calling a week in advance for a Saturday night reservation was 530pm or 930pm so we grabbed the 530pm.
