Staff Lies! Initially we were very happy at Bella Palazzo. The price was $800 for a one bedroom, 1.5 bath (price included water, trash, $20 pet rent and Time Warner). The apartment had great features like a ceiling fan in every room, a brick fireplace, a fridge with water and ice in the door, a central vac and a huge walk-in closet. The location is great too.

Bait and switch got worse When my wife and I moved in, in September of 2010, the management was tolerable and the maintenance guys were okay. When the new management took over in the summer of 2011 things went from tolerable to horrible. The new head manager was a woman who doesn't return calls, doesn't fill out work orders for maintenance problems, isn't willing to work with renters on any issues at all, and to top it off goes out of her way to make problems worse. Do your research and take my advise! I have lived in apartments for almost ten years. I looked at Bella Palazzo and moved in the beggining of 2010. The apartments show nice and the staff was nice as well. After moving in of course everything changes. I have never been so un-happy in an apartment. The unit its self is nice. The property is clean but could use a face lift. There are two reasons I would not live here. The first being the maintenance. Good luck getting them to come out on ER issues! Beautiful and Spacious Apartments After looking at 12 different complexes in South Johnson County, I chose to live at Bella Palazzo. I lived in a one bedroom unit for over two years and absolutely loved it. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, and the grounds were always meticulously maintained and landscaped. I thoroughly enjoyed all the great amenities--the 24 hour fitness center, tanning bed, and steam shower, which were all just recently remodeled before I moved. Bella Palazzo is fantastic! I leased a 1 bedroom apartment from Bella Palazzo for a few years. My experience was overall really great. The staff was friendly (especially the maintenance guys), and the 925 sq ft for less than $800 was awesome! The apartments are really big, and the layouts make sense (no pointless hallways or narrow living rooms, etc). A lot of the rooms have crown molding, too, which my fiancee liked. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE The first apt we moved into with them was dirty when we got the keys, there were worms under the sink,the gardend bathtub they advertise was disgusting, and a month later we found a mouse. So then they moved us to another apt which they were really good about but the ceiling leaked when it rained and out toilet was broken and always overflowed. WOULD NOT LIVE HERE again if they paid me.!
Nice Apartments We only lived there a few months but overall it was a decent place to live. We have had no problems breaking our lease 9 months early due to military orders. However, they added an extra 20 dollars to our lease without telling us, when we looked at the place the water was included in the rent come to sign the lease it isn't included.
