Not kid friendly restaurant! – I do not recommend this place to families with kids. It is not a kid-friendly restaurant at all. Once they see kids enter the place the waiters and waitresses become less friendly!!! It maybe romantic! The food may be tasty but the general feel of the environment is too up-tight and unconfortable (with kids). To me all the reviews about it being kid-friendly is down right superficial.

Next best is Italy! – My family and I have dined at Bella Monica on many occasions since discovering this quaint restaurant almost 2 years ago. Every time we go there it is like being with my large Italian family. You will not find better service anywhere else in Raleigh. The wine list is amazing, one of the best I have seen. A very happy belly!!! – I was extremely impressed with the attention we received from our host and the waitstaff.It was a very busy place where people absolutly did not mind to wait to get a table. My Husband ordered the garlic soup,to begin with.His soup was absolutely amazing.It was a creamed based stock and the garlic blended wonderfully with the other ingredients.I kept dipping my bread into his soup.I ordered the portabella mushroom and sun dried tomato lasagna baked in a wine cream sauce. Great family spot – A friend of mine and our two kids enjoyed our lunch at Bella Monica. The staff was so friendly that our waiter even played peek a boo with my friends son. Our food came out quickly and was awesome. Pizza made to order. Yum!!! We will enjoy eating here many more times. Thanks again to the staff for such a great experience.
You are always welcomed and greeted with smiles – There is no other place in the Triangle that you feel so welcomed when you walk in. The personal touches and friendly atmosphere mesh beautifully with the BEST Italian food around. The strong sense of family and great food will keep you coming back over and over and over again.
Bella's Great Food, Great Time – Bella's is were I take all my friends. Your coming into town, we go to Bella. Everyone I have take there LOVED it. Highly recommended.
Salute! – You can only raise your glass and say thank you Bella Monica for bringing Italy to Raleigh. Nanna's sauce is awesome. The atmosphere is wonderful...they truely breathe their motto at Bella Monica. Live, Love, Eat. I walk out of their everytime rubbing my belly wishing I had room for more.
