I recently renewed my lease at Bell and overall, I’ve really enjoyed living here. Jake, the new manager, has been a great addition to the property. The previous manager didn’t seem very interested in interacting with residents, so the difference has been noticeable. Jake is friendly, approachable, and accommodating. He and Ben make a great team and always seem willing to do what they can to help resolve any issues I have. The maintenance team is also great. UPDATE: Unfortunately, things have gone from bad to worse. We moved into our new apartment over two weeks ago and the bug situation has gotten even worse. The insects have spread from the bathroom into our living room and kitchen. Despite submitting maintenance requests and communicating with the office since the day we moved in, we still have no clear direction or meaningful resolution from management. We just moved into a new unit at Bell Pasadena, and it’s been an extremely disappointing experience. Despite Manager Jake repeatedly insisting the apartment was move-in ready, it clearly was not. We found significant mold in the washer and dryer, blood stains in the bathtub, broken flooring with chipped corners, and a garbage disposal that didn’t work. Been living here for 2 months. 5 stars is for management. -magenagement: great. Good communication and helpful. If there is an issue, they response pretty quick. When you come into the office, they’re always cheerful to assist. We had an event, and food showed up a little late, the manager messaged right before, that was pretty thoughtful. What stood out most was when my guest’s dog ran to the courtyard while we were out, the manager helped chase down the unleashed hyperactive dog and kept the dog until he found us.
