I’ve lived in Bellpark Manor Terrace for 44 years. We moved here in 1981 when you had to be a veteran. It was a beautiful place to live in, it was safe and clean. In 1990 we voted and went private, then we had a say in decisions made by the board. Today we have no say in anything, there’s no transparency at all. Recently the board voted amongst themselves to install Charging Stations to accommodate other shareholders with electric cars. Been here 15 years. Great for the most part. Very few or no one lost power during Sandy. It’s a 20-minute drive to JFK under ideal conditions. About the same for LaGuardia.
