Living here I was never able to get maintenance done on my apartment when it was needed. THe area around the apartment complex is not safe at all! The owner will try and cheat you into paying for parking when no other complex in this area does that. and this makes no sense cause there are so many vacancies and plenty of places to park. The picture in this add is not even of bell oaks its of the apartments next door LOL happy apartment hunting stay away from this train wreck
Great place to live if you like no maintenance ever done on your apartment and if you want to got to bed every night to the sounds of police helicopters :)

Ive lived here at Bell Oaks 2 months now , I can say this theres no place like home and yes Bell Oaks is my home .The staff here is great and friendly , its gated so I feel very safe and as far as rules go I dont mind at all .
I encourage you to check the crime statistics before moving into this neighborhood. The apartment staff have about as much competence as they have teeth!
Bell Oaks is a great place to live. Since the new management has taken over, my husband and I have seen great improvements to the complex.. fresh coats of paint, updated units, renovated pool/BBQ area, better security, complex newsletters and better communication all-around. The complex is also walking distance to schools and nearby restaurants/shopping areas. The neighbors are uber friendly and our doggy loves it here too!
This Complex is located in one of the worse neighborhoods Sacramento has to offer. The streets at night are frequently blocked off by police cars. Almost every night a police helicopter can be heard above. The owner lives in the complex and has a trashy staff working there. Needed repairs are performed at a snail pace. The staff changes every other month and most of the good people leave as they are just tired of the neighborhood or the antics of an owner who has four pages for the pool rules.
