My introduction to a robotics tournament in Belton was eye opening and my learning curve was bumpy. I had no preconceived what to expect, but I got so much more for watching the alliances. I could tell that the high school students were totally invested in their robots and it was a joy to watch them. On Friday I had a good view of the alliances and the screen. At the north end there are two areas with two stadium seats. I could drive my scooter right up to the railing. The one vendor wasn’t cheap nor open after 4:00.
Large open space that was nice. There is some "potholes" on the floor that can roll an ankle. The women's bathroom could be improved. One stall was out of order. One door had no lock on it, so it wasn't usable. It would be nice if there were hooks in the stalls for purses too.
