I opened a bag of the Ace black oil sunflower seeds yesterday and it was full of moths and worms. The bag was purchased earlier this year and had been in my house with a couple of others, and this was the last one that I had. I took it back to exchange for another and was told that since I didn’t have a receipt, they won’t do anything. The woman manager also said that if it isn’t used within two weeks it will all get buggy (this has NEVER happened to any sunflower seeds that I’ve gotten in the past from here or anywhere else... read more
made me feel like a criminal and accused me of shoplifting in front of everyone. one young female in particular was the most unprofessional individual who had no authority . and after the real manager arrived.they found it was a tag in my clothing. it took 5 employees and a scene in front of all the checkouts for them to determine this. me emptying my pockets etc. totally unprofessional. very embarrassing. I will be cancelling any affiliation with ace. and will never walk in their store again.
