I am extremely dissatisfied with the level of professionalism and service provided by this company. Following a fire at my business, my insurance carrier retained Belfor to assess the damage and to perform a temporary repair to my front door in order to prevent further exposure to weather until a permanent door and frame could be installed. Truly horrible service. Restoration from a flood was quoted several weeks, and has now dragged on for 8 months. Decisions made by the crews were not discussed with us beforehand. The house still is not fully completed, and their manager or ‘leader’ never returns our calls or shows up to scheduled meetings. This is beyond ridiculous. I’m honestly astounded by how little care and efficiency has gone into repairing my parents’ house. A job that was originally quoted for 6 weeks of work and we’re now deep into 8 months. My parents are in their 60s and still working full time and I’ve honestly felt only anxiety and unease for them for how long it’s been since they’ve been able to go to their own home at the end of a long day and tuck into their own beds. We had a roof shingle blow off our house and as a result during heavy rain, some of the water leaked from our attic into our house. Insurance was able to get someone to fix the shingle on the roof; however when Belfor came, they said the ceiling repair in the room where the leak happened, was covered by the "emergency repair". Turns out, they lied to us - it was not covered by the emergency repair, so they billed our insurance, drilled multiple holes in our ceiling, never came back to fix it, and left a mess both times the w... read more
