Excellent experience with Belfor. Ice damming on our roof after the winter conditions this past year caused significant amounts of water leakage and damage to drywall and pine walls and ceilings as well as some carpeting and an engineered hardwood floor. We filed a claim with the insurance company and within a couple of hours Greg from Belfor had called and shown up to initiate the emergency phase of the operation. Their work was not only top-quality but also incredibly professional, including thorough cleanup. The entire process was so smooth and unobtrusive, it barely felt like a renovation was happening. Having built our home ourselves, we’ve worked with many contractors over the years—and these were among the best we’ve had the pleasure of working with.
Unprofessional and misleading hiring process – Barrie branch I had a very disappointing experience with BELFOR Barrie. After my in-person interview, I was told I was getting the job, but that since it’s a corporate company, the process would take some time. I waited patiently for 4 weeks after the interview, following up weekly. Every time, I was told they just needed final signatures or approvals.
