BELFOR Property Restoration in Livonia. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. They screwed us over so bad. Never do business with these incompetent people. They don't know what they're doing. And then they try and say that they do. But you have actual proof that they don't. I highly regret doing business with this company. Our house had catastrophic water damage after a supply line broke when we were not home. Belfor (Contractor was Kevin M.) repaired almost our entire house while we moved out. It is now 2.5 years since the repair work and since we moved back into our home, and the very poor work quality and cut corners are coming through in everything they did (if you read other reviews, which I wish I had, cutting corners is a very common theme with Belfor). If we could give zero stars, we would certainly consider it in light of the overall experience. We really don't have too much angst against the subcontractors so the one star is primarily given for their work because it is just one critical piece of the restoration process. The plumber, cabinet installer, flooring and electrical subs did great work but the drywallers and painters were very inconsistent and no shows throughout, which dragged out the entire process. I have worked with a lot of companies over many years but I have never had one that acted so professionally. Dan Pruneda was the overseer with Joe and Ryan being the leads in the different areas of repair. The company was fair, fast and even fixed a few extra items to get the job done right. I had never heard of Belfor before but it was recommended by my insurance company and now I see why. I believe this is a company that will give you the results you are after.

We recently experienced water damage in our home from a leaking shower upstairs. Our homeowner’s insurance company initially assigned our case to another well-known national restoration company. Would not recommend this company! Our project manager, Darryl was terrible. On a project that was estimated to take 1 month, it took 6 months and not everything was even completed. Besides their lack of timeliness and poor communication, the absence of customer service is the reason I feel to need to write a review.
