Solomon Organization is a horrible joke. They have outdone themselves this year by raising many rents (not the renovated townhouses but the old beat-up ones) by over \$100 per month. The maintenance staff will promise you the moon but not follow up on most things. What they do fix is done quickly and poorly. Promises of painting, new carpets, new doors/windows etc. are lies unless you plan on paying. They now allow current tenants to help select what renovations they want but of course they come with great cost to the renter... read more
My parents were living there for 18 years before they finally moved out. The reason why they left, the mangament and maintenance have truly taken a turn for a worse since the new managment has stepped in. My parents were paying 0ver 1200 a month by the time the left. We were promised repairs would be made, one example being a water heater that after a week we replaced ourselves because the maintence never bothered. I am a long time resident and remember how Belair Townhomes was run under the old management. Since the property was sold a year or so ago to a company in New Jersey, everything has gone very down hill. They are careful to maintain the external of the properties very nicely, but this is only a facade.As another reviewer states, the new owners, Solomon Organization, should be ashamed of themselves -- you better not get a few days behind on your rent, or expect to have to pay over \$100 in late fees along with a notice to appe... read more
