My experience was a little strange. The psychologist, Micheal, who I was assigned to for ADHD intake spent a lot of time emphasizing his disdain for insurance companies (come on dude). Which was funny at first but seemed very unprofessional by the end. He also made a few jokes that didn't sit well with me. I appreciate when people keep it real, but it gets to a point where you seem more focused on your frustrations than talking to the patient. Especially when the services are so expensive. I came in to test for autism and felt very comfortable with Dr. Miesner (I hope I spelled it right) as well as the person who tested me! The results were validating and I feel very glad I came here for my testing. He was very thorough and made sure to answer any questions I may have had, I'm VERY glad to finally have some answers, it's very very relieving. I’m not currently a patient at this practice, but I did want to leave a review regarding the front desk. I am personally an admin assistant, and I felt the person who took my call to become a new patient didn’t handle it very well. She was short with me and not communicative. I asked to become a new patient, she asked for my insurance and immediately put me on hold. After being on hold I found out they don’t accept my insurance even though it says they do on PsychologyToday. The person I spoke with on the phone also didn’t s... read more
