Alex kindly took me on during the third trimester of my first pregnancy following our move to Sydney. Dr McRae provided a reassuring combination of clinical expertise and real nurturing warmth. Through my pregnancy, delivery, and after the birth she was endlessly patient with our questions, answering each one with both science and empathy, never making us feel like we were taking up her time. Alex took such great care of me and my babies during both of my pregnancies. I cannot recommend her enough. She is warm, caring, and intelligent with a great sense of humour. She gave us all the information we wanted or needed and put us at ease, especially during stressful moments. I had the best experience with Alex. She was so attentive, caring and compassionate throughout my whole pregnancy and birth. I would not have had such a positive birth experience without Alex's guidance and I am incredibly grateful to her for that. Alex was very supportive and respectful of my decisions and choices throughout my pregnancy and birth. She is dedicated and reliable. When you are in potentially the most vulnerable state of your life, she is the doctor you want on your team.
