In 1982, the Esfandiary family opened a small restaurant in Albany Texas, not even knowing how to make a Chicken Fried Steak, or what mashed taters were. With a little help from local cooks, a very trusting banker, and with a determination that success was the only answer, they have made a name for themselves.
