On my first visit, ordered three pies, only liked the guiness pie. The two pastries looked yummy but were disappointing on taste. Second visit, no staff were in the shop area,guess they were behind the wall somewhere, anyhow, after i called out and still no staff i left, that was last week.
Steak cheese and bacon pie was really good
Coeliac aware and friendly! It was so refreshing to walk in and see an entire gluten free section on the menu board, immediately letting me know what I could have. You also get a choice of gluten free toppers, like mash and gravy. There is a dedicated cabinet with all the gluten free pies and toppers individually portioned, the staff reassured me they are all prepared separately. Pies are decent but the sausage rolls are actually quite bad, they taste like a Coles roast chickens stuffing. Tastes and feel like there's very minimal actual meat in them and seems to be mostly bread crumbs or something other. Sausage rolls are also real expensive for what they are.
Veg&meat pasties, wasn't exceptional. It was filled with the same generic ingredients as any other bakery. Pastry wasn't very l8ght or puffy. I got a small custard tart. The crust was nice and short, it held well. But it was a little on the burnt side, it was all I could taste. The custard was bland, but firm. It's an OK feed, if you a feed.
