Beefeaters is a rare (pun intended) place in today's restaurant world, it is a truly great place to eat. The food is prepared with precision, and the wait staff are attentive and caring in their service. The building has great charm and history, being a former library, and provides a great 30 foot ceiling feeling to every meal. The food is prepared to your personal perfection and I am always impressed with their drive to please every customer. I take my customers here.
Nice decor, but... Not impressed with the food or service....everything was really bland, the waitress was not very nice, and the drinks were pretty flat.

Beef, beef and more beef on weck – If you love beef you will love The Beefeaters Restaurant. Great old building, nice ambiance and GREAT BEEF!. They specialize in a sandwich unique to WNY and NW Pa called the "beef on weck" otherwise known as roast beef on kummelwick roll. It is made from juicy beef slices cut at the beef bar, placed on a salty, caraway laden home cooked bun that has been dipped in the beef juices. If you love beef you will really enjoy this restaurant.
Beefeaters Restaurant is for Beef Lovers – As the name states, this restauarant specializes in beef of all kinds. Their specialty though is roast beef cut at stations throughout the restuarant served in a sandwich style unique to the region known as "beef on kummelwick". The beef, juciy and layered thick is serverd on a caraway roll (kummelwick) that is dipped in juice. They do it as well or better than any place that I have been.
OUTSTANDING – Beefeaters could only be described as outstanding. From the warm welcome from the hostess all the way to the prime rib. My server was one of the most pleasant waitress' I've ever dealt with. I didn't have to wait, or ask for anything. I sampled a full dinner from starters to dessert. You could tell the soup was made fresh that day, the rib was cooked to perfect temperature and I didn't need knife to eat it, and the pie i'm sure was home made! User review by brit1 – Beefeater's is average but COULD be great. The soups were piping hot, and tasty. The 20oz steak was cooked perfectly, and was fork-tender. The roast beef was also lean and flavorsome. The side dishes, however, weren't good, and spoiled the experience. The mixed veggies were bitter, and obviously from a bag. The mashed potato and gravy were also not home-made. The Strawberry Shortcake was a biscuit swimming in mushy thawed strawberries, topped with can cream.
