Claims to be Indiana's Best Steak House To people in Indiana, I am sorry. This is not the best steak house out there. If this is the best your state has to offer than I am sorry! They have an excellent seafood pasta dish that is only a special and not on the menu. The food was good but high priced. The lunch buffet is well worth the money!
Business Owner I would give the BH a half star if this site would let me. My family comes here once a year and I still can't believe they do, after the way we were treated and how terrible the food is. It is expensive and the owner is rude. We had a party of about 20 last year and she kept telling me to sit down and I told her that I would like to sit next to my father and his wife. And she said oh just sit here. The place to go for a great steak! The Beef House is a family owned restaurant offering the best cuts of beef, pork and seafood. Their homemade rolls and strawberry jam are served at every meal and the salad bar is top notch. Prices are reasonable to high, but you will leave stuffed with the best food around. A buffet is offered at lunch which is a bargain.
Beef House Great Food and great Family Friendly I understand management may be in a bad mood or as the other review said arrogant. The Job of Mr Mrs.Wright as with any Business owner is NOT EASY. tHE WORLD IS NOT PERFECT
Not Like It Used to Be - Give Customers a Smile I have been going to the Beef House since the early 70's. My parents even used to go to the original Beef House. While I like their steaks and rolls, I have consistently seen a major ATTITUDE PROBLEM with the owner, management and staff. dinner When you're willing to drive 1.5 hours to go to the Beef House, you know it has got to be good! The steaks are great, the salad bar has a LOT of variety. I could possibly eat a truck load of the bread!
Come Hungry I grew up in a town near the Beef House, so I have been a regular customer. The salad bar and "Beef House" rolls are the best I've ever had. This place has not changed in years, perhaps because it has always been good.
