We’ve been going to Beechnut Animal Hospital for at least 23 years to receive care for our many dogs and cats. We’ve seen all of the doctors over the years, and each one has helped us keep our animals healthy, even when an illness was very difficult to diagnose. We’ve also worked with all of the staff, and they are all excellent as well, very technically competent but also very kind and empathetic. I have recommended BAH many times on NextDoor, Facebook and to friends and neighbors. Everyone, doctors and staff, is terrific! I always have to give a special shoutout to my girl Patricia. If I have a problem or question and don’t want to take a doctor’s time, I will frequently ask to speak to her. The techs, the reception area staff, everyone is so helpful, so understanding and kind. Dr. Matt and the entire staff have been the best thing that happened to me and my pets. They are honest and go above and beyond for my animals With special needs. Luckily I found Dr. Matt through a referral when my dog tore his ACL. All the other vets were trying to do surgery on him and Dr. Matt was so thorough that he caught an underlying issue with my pup that made him not a candidate for surgery at all. They really care about the animals they help! They staff is always helpful, friendly and understanding!
I still say as I have in the past, that Dr. Greg Matt is the best diagnostician in the Houston area. And the staff is a great bunch of caring, kind people. Been taking my pets there since Dr. Matt bought the place from the previous owner many years ago.
