Called to schedule an appointment for medication prescription and management & was told I needed a referral from my PCP. Told the lady I had a full psychological done by a psychologist who recommended them but that they don’t do official referrals. She then said I can call my insurance for a prior authorization. I do and they tell me my policy doesn’t require PA or referral for mental health. I call back to tell her this & she now says it’s their own policy. This review is regarding the front desk staff, specifically the girl with the red hair. She is very rude and condescending. She stated I arrived late to my appointment but I did not. I did not receive a confirmation call or a call asking if I was going to make it to my appointment. This would have been my first appointment. I cannot speak on the therapist or the services as I did cancel my appointment. If this is how the clients are treated at a behavioral health clinic it is very sad. I've been going here for a while my girl brought me here to get help at first it was going great and all but lil by lil I began noticing this therapist don't really know much how a therapist for mental health should be towards their clients I mean after my wife left to go with another therapist I continued with torres cuz I felt ok with her but lil by little she began acting as if she could care less about my mental health I wasn't a real person I'll from mental illness I was just a dollar to her she's fake as can be gives u... read more
Have had trouble getting in contact with Dr. Torres. Missed my appointment because they failed to call me back, next day it was the same thing. Now i’m out of meds that help me get through my day and need refill but can’t get a hold of her. Don’t even bother, try someone new that will actually listen and help you.
Excellent Doctor, wonderful front desk staff. Trust Dr. Torres with anything related to my mental health!!
