RecommendedI started working with Maureen at Wag n Wash where she offers FREE puppy socialization every Saturday for an hour. I just completed a Rally course with Maureen and my 1 year old male Border Collie Lucky. Maureen's style is so very supportive and fun for all in the class. I have done several other classes with my Border Collie but never Rally and this is the first class with Maureen. I found Maureen to be super positive and easy going - giving great tips along the way. We learned so much and the class was so much fun. I am looking forward to taking future classes with Maureen. I have taken several classes with Maureen, starting with a FitPaws conditioning class with my male Whippet. We got a puppy this spring and brought her to Maureen’s puppy socialization classes. Since then, we’ve done Basic Manners, Manners 2.5 and just finished puppy’s first rally class. I’ve been doing rally training with my other dogs and have had several trainers, but you learn sounds every time. I can’t wait for some more training with the puppy. CGC work for her. Finn and Thor both need rear end awareness work, too!
I had previous experience using negative reinforcement training and I didn't want to go that route when I got my new puppy. Maureen came recommended and she was great helping me learn new techniques to train my dog. In fact, we have taken several of her classes and had personal sessions to ensure I am the best advocate for my dog and people compliment me all of the time on his good behavior. She truly cares about her clients and wants the best outcome for them. I have seen her go above and beyond to help them!
Maureen is an incredible dog trainer. She's an invaluable part of Domino Service Dogs, working closely with our head trainer as a fine trainer of service dogs. Her own Bee a god Dog business is a big success. All of her clients praise her so highly in the varied classes she holds. The owner is an amazing person with great knowledge of dogs..she also donates a lot of time helping people with disabilities train their dogs to be service dogs. She has a true understanding and caring about the welfare of the dogs and their partners...but will always protect dogs from any danger.
