2026 Update: Just had Andy and his team come out again this year and complete more work at our home. 2 years in a row having them come do work for us and I could not be happier. They follow up, they inform you, they tell the truth and they take care of business quickly, efficiently and correctly. I will never use another landscaping company other than Beds and Borders. We had a few plants and flowers planted last year that did not hold and make it (obviously not their fault), but they replaced all of them without issue and q... read more
Beds & Borders went above and beyond. They worked with us on the design of the landscaping, with us making changes to the design multiple times. We also were getting our house painted and Beds & Borders scheduled tree and shrub removal two months before they were going to do our project because we wanted the area around our house cleared before painting started. We got landscaping around the whole house, a new deck, and shed pad put in. We are very happy with the outcome.
***1 season out update*** I wanted to add that 1 season out, we had a few plants die from rabbits getting to them and the long winter. We wrapped in burlap and fenced the new plantings but despite our best efforts a few plants did die. They came out and replaced the dead plants with species that we knew handled the soil and our yard better. They also spread fresh mulch everywhere, touched up a few items that Xcel unfortunately did a horrible job with, and inspected the drain tile for us. Our backyard was originally grass and A LOT of buckthorn - we called it the Jungle of Thorns. It was not a space we enjoyed being in. We met with Andy and he put together a beautiful design and we decided to move forward. We are about 99% complete with this project - and we have ZERO complaints or criticisms!
