Poor business practices – Our experience with this furniture store has gradually gotten worse and worse and is still not over. We ordered 2 couches from them over 6 weeks ago (paid half as a deposit), and were told that they would take two weeks to arrive. After we did not hear from them 2.5 weeks later, we called to find out what was up. We were told that the couches were backordered and would be no more another 1.5 weeks, but that they would call us to update on the status. Would NEVER buy here again – We purchased a dark brown, microfiber sofa with recliners here for nearly $800. After living with it for 4 months we have found that it is horribly uncomfortable and the recliners hurt our backs. I have had to go the chiropractor because of this. The leg rests are basically just a piece of wood with very sharp edges, and hurt our legs if we rest them there for more than a few minutes. Nice furniture but don't finance if at all possible – Purchased a bedroom suite from this company wanting to do 12 months same as cash but had to go thru American General Finance. Everything went thru smoothly and I love the furniture but AMG has repeatedly called my cell phone numerous times bothering me over and over to loan me "more money." I have a major problem w/ this as I didn't want to go thru them to begin w/ and the constant calls from so many different people w/ AMG is getting out of hand. My only suggestion to an... read more

Don't buy furniture from a catalog – Looking for furniture? If you are shopping in furniture stores, you are looking to spend a few bucks for that piece you want. But Bedroom and Sofa emporium carries such a small selection on their floor. I needed a twin bed, and of course they didn't have anything, so I looked through the catalogs, and ordered. Got a cheap piece (though not cheap to my wallet) of crap that I am now stuck with, and a kindly "tough crap" from Bedroom Emporium. Bottom line, if it means that much to you - see ... read more
