On the plus side, Bedford Plaza is a great location and within walking distance to the downtown and train station. The positives end there. The most important thing to know when considering purchasing here is that you’re subject to the whims of the co-op board. There is truly nothing else like it. I have met many lovely,kind,generous people while living in Bedford Plaza. The staff of Porters,Mechanics and Supers are wonderful and helpful.They keep these building in tip top shape and are very responsive to any issues. During the Covid pandemic it was a comfort to have others with which to share resources. We all pulled together as a community and helped each other. The community is diverse, with young families and old timers. The heat does come up high,but an open window brings fresh,cool air into my home. My built in ... read more

This place is the pits. Echoing the other review, there is no visitor parking and you get assigned one parking space per apartment. If you have two drivers in an apartment, you have to seek out renting a space from someone else or park on the street, both of which are very difficult. Furthermore, there is no handicap parking. You cannot control the heat so in the winter you are usually sweltering. You can hear everything from your neighbors as the walls are paper thin.
