I made an appointment for a new client haircut with Chalsey while in the Deadwood/Lead area on vacation. I’ve been trimming my own hair for a few years and was on the verge of doing it again!! We discussed what I had in mind before she started the cut and she conferred with me periodically during the cut. When she was done, I had a properly layered, easy-to-maintain style, with my self-trimming sins “blended” into my new cut where necessary. Amazing local stylist! Loved what she was able to do with my hair and cleaning up my eyebrows. 7/5 would recommend. Update: Took my identical twins 10 year olds in and, can confirm, children love this place too (by appointment and request of course)

I cannot qualify this as a salon. She said she did not do blowouts because they are only done in cities and because of the chemicals. She said this after she was done coloring my hair. She is pretty rude as well. Quite frankly, you are better off doing it yourself than coming here. Not worth the city prices that she charges.

Chalsey is amazing!!! Came for a week to visit the area, decided to get my haircut, she took care of me, and did everything I requested and precise! Her dog, bandit is an absolute hoot as well!!
