Dr. Beckway is knowledgeable, attentive, and caring. He doesn’t rush and carefully listens to any questions and concerns one might have. He conducts a very thoroughexamination. His response time is also quite quick. I have not had such a good, competent doctor in a very long time.
I was unhappy with my last doctor and switched to Dr. Beckway. He immediately found (and resolved) an issue the other physician had never even looked for. He is very attentive and personable. Quick to respond to messages. Good at explaining what's going on and how he's approaching it. Highly recommended.

My most recent visit was a couple weeks ago for a routine annual physical. But it was the latest in a long series of excellent experiences with Doctor Beckway. I'm 63 years old and in fairly good health (fingers crossed) thanks to the holistic, intelligent, low-key style of Steven Beckway. He not only has a vast range of medical knowledge and know-how, but he is focused on prevention. He is oriented toward promoting long-term healthy habits. Dr. Beckway always patiently answers my questions, is accommodating with scheduling, and is a great diagnostician, and always respond in a timely manner to email inquiries. The *only* issue I have isn't with him or any of the staff, it's using the Northshore Call Center, which is horrible - I utilize NorthShore Connect online as often as possible. I'd 100% recommend Dr. Beckway!
Dr. Beckway is fantastic. He listens to all of your concerns, explains things in as much detail as you like, seems very knowledgeable and up to date on research, and he's easy to talk to. He is more difficult to get appointments with on weekends and evenings now, but I can still get in when I need to. Plus, Northshore's electronic system is fantastic. So, if I need anything, I can just email him and I always get a quick and helpful response.
