About this business
It was a simple desire to do something special in the restaurant business that brought Mike Knapp (operations manager of nine Steak & Ale restaurants), John Storms (burger enthusiast), and Win Campbell (foodie, one-time burger flipper) together in the summer of 1984. Not just for burgers! – Okay so we all know that Becks Prime has terrific burgers - maybe the best in town, if not the planet! Best Hamburgers in Houston! – I believe Beck's has the best hamburgers in Houston. They are always fresh, always hot and Beck's uses great quality ingredients. Becks is Best – This is the best burger in Houston. The mesquite grill gives their food a flavor that none can match and if your not in the mood for a burger the have chicken and even steaks with the same great taste. This place is perfect for anyone who wants great tasting fresh food with a variety to choose from. The manager told me that they don?t even have freezers except for the beer mugs.
Always the best-Night or day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! – The Wilcrest store is our Becks Prime home away from home! We just love this place! My wife loves the convenience of picking up some of their kids meals on the way home! She loves the fact that the kids chicken is grilled not fried! $22 for a steak at a burger join? Need I say more? – TWENTY TWO DOLLARS??? For a six-ounce steak? You've got to be joking me. I walked in to get a steak and was shocked at the price. Houston's Best Burger -- Period – I visit Houston a few times a year, coming down from Dallas. Every visit I've made at Becks Prime has been INCREDIBLE! This is the best burger in Houston.... and in the world! The beef patty is the very best anywhere. Great charbroiled taste, plus fresh vegetables, and fresh-cut fries. Best Burger – Fresh and home made potatoes, could be fry crispy or no. This is the best burger than other fast food i have ever had!! Awesome, everything make fresh!! And the waiters? Really NICE!! Even the kitchen worker is friendly!! What else? This is cool location, cool place and cool atmosphere. Becks Prime is simple and GREAT!
