Diagnosed me BPD after less than 30 minutes and was so sure of his diagnosis that he prescribed me Seroquel and refused me any further care outside of his initial diagnosis. After taking 200mg for 2 months, he told me it would be okay to stop taking my medicine cold turkey and told me I'd need to see another doctor if I wanted a 2nd opinion cuz 20 minutes of talking was a 100% definite for him and his diagnosis so he was not at all willing to explore other possibilities or collaborate with me on my care. My mental health is DECLINING, and I give ALL MY THANKS to my psychiatrist I'm seeing NOW, and the psychiatrist I was seeing BEFORE. They don't care about my mental, so why do I care for then ALSO? The only person that did care about my well-being is the nurse and the psychiatrist I was seeing before she left. When a psychiatrist don't LISTEN and LIES it's a RED FLAG for me.
Truly incredible place. They care about healing, not just maintenance. Nearly everyone I have encountered there has been a staple in my mental health journey. Alexis, Jennifer, and other ladies at the front desk are so warm and kind. Katerina the employment specialist is a breath of fresh air and will do anything she can to help. Dr. Ebert is qualified and cares. Kevin the therapist is a gem of a person. They did the best they can of keeping me from losing my insanity but well guss what I'm still losing my Sanity.....()
My counselor kept getting changed when I was here and when I moved I was told I would be transferred and the clinic they transfer me to would contact me to schedule. I called here to make sure the transfer was done because it had been a month and I had heard nothing and someone closed my patient account and didn't have the decency to even let me know so that I could start the process of getting established somewhere new myself.
