This place (IMO) is nothing short of a scam. They are so understaffed its hard to imagine that they can maintain a license to remain in business. They must take pride in being rude and condensending, because they are definitely good at that. Medical professional assistance promised upon signing into program are not available. A psychiatrist visit time is literally 2-3 minutes max. If you need help, search for a place with decent reviews. Sorry, zero was not available. Horrible IMHO To say staff was condescending is wrong......they weren't that good!! Rude Staffing levels are not what they are supposed to be - it shows. Professional Help, eg, psychiatrists are extremely limited and they only spend a few minutes max. with patients that need more. One we experienced was rude and rushed to get to next person. The staff is so condescending. They don’t take patient care seriously. Since my husband arrived his depression, anxiety, and blood pressure have worsened!!! He has NEVER had an issue with blood pressure a day in his life until he arrived there. He wanted to leave and was threatened a 72 hour hold if he wanted to sign a AMA. He is not a threat to himself or others so their is no need for a 72 hour hold. He can’t seem to get a dr to talk to him for more than 5 minutes and he’s gone. Only go here if you really need to and cannot find another place to go. My experience was horrible, but they did keep me safe from myself. That being said the staff were very irritable, unfriendly, and poorly trained. They overact very poorly to any sign of trouble in a patient. Often they triggered me and made me feel significantly worse. I was not the only one who had this issue while I was there. There is also a distinct lack of programming during the day. I was in Beckett Springs for 4 nights and I want to detail my experience there to keep anyone else from going through the trauma I experienced. You WILL be held against your will and YOU WILL NOT BE SAFE. I went in to Beckett in order to switch meds safely. When I met with the assessor, I asked if I did inpatient, would I be able to leave if the place was not a good fit for me. 13 minutes ago I would never recommend Beckett Springs to anyone. Business practices are unethical. The Doctors will bill you by the day not by how many times they see you or the actual time with them. The Psychiatrist billed me one thousand for three fifteen minute sessions while inside Beckett Springs. The Doctor I saw one time for my physical during intake charged me seven hundred for a physical. I was a patient for seven days and saw these two doctors for a total of about two hours.
