The Dr Beck was professional and friendly, he answered my questions. When the time comes for my surgery I want Dr Beck to perform my surgery. He was the third neurosurgeon I've seen and I have a high level of confidence in his abilities for the best out come possible.
I think Dr Beck is an excellent provider ! He is a man of few words, but you need to pay attention to what he says! He is honest and spot on!
My experience is 15 years old, so he may have changed. But he was sarcastic, rude, uncaring, and egocentric. I am now facing full cervical c3-t1 fusion, which may be attributable to decisions he made in my surgery. My current neurosurgeon--a professor in neurosurgery--told me he would never have approached my condition the same way. I highly recommend second opinions with surgeons outside the Missoula area, and preferably at an institute dedicated to neuroscience. Your spinal cord is too important.
