I had work done barely a few months ago the exhaust/tailpipe came loose needs to be rewelded. I am being charged for work that should have some type if warranty for $700.00 bad service...... JMO! Will not be using this company again and will not recommend anyone to this place.

I recently went here to fix an issue with the brake switch in my car. To start off, I couldn't figure out the exact problem with my car and had been running around everywhere. At first I thought it was my battery because one morning, on my way to work my car would not start. I took it to Walmart for them to take a look at it and they had to charge to make sure if it was good or not so I waited over an hour for them to charge it. Turns out the battery was good. I went asked to come there 3 times, and all 3 times I was not able to reach an agreement with the Representatives. The Mechanics seemed incompetent, they provided awful service, and unprofessional. They attempted to cheat me by saying " we aren't sure how much its going to cost, we will know after we are done". All they had to do is replace my headlights & high beams. It was simple work.

Pep Boys quoted me $1,763.04 to fix my overheating car. Beck's fixed it for $20.00 for a leaking coolant cap. My father has brought every car he as ever owned in Austin to this shop and I should have asked him first before trying to get an estimate at Pep Boys. Just goes to show you the difference between an honest auto shop and a not honest auto shop.
