Welp, this is what I get for stopping in some random place bc I had the time. What a horrible experience. I showed the guy a reference photo of what I wanted and then left it open for him just in case - he starts off by saying “OKAY I got it” insisting I put the phone away. He then asks me late how long I want them and to show the photo again for reference after he put the long acrylic tips on so it’s hard to open my phone he then proceeds to do the “tips” as shown in the photo - a straight across line with no curve. I came here to get my acrylics taken off and instead of soaking my fingers in acetone first to soften the acrylic the older guy started using a cuticle pusher. The guy first cut the acrylic down without seeing where my nail stops at under the acrylic, which caused him to cut my actual nail to short and uneven leaving some nail hitting against the meat which hurts a lot.
