We purchased a quick move-in home from Beazer and initially believed we were getting a great home at a fair price. Construction was completed on time, and the community itself is wonderful — quiet streets, friendly neighbors, and a great location overall. My out of town client is building in Stonewood Estates. I've been keeping an eye on the house for them and the builder, Philip is doing a great job. Kimberly, the sales agent was great to work with getting the house under contract and Diane in the design center was very very helpful. Closing is in a couple of months and Kimberly has been sending my clients and me updates every week.

It’s unfortunate that in Durham a builders deposit is not refundable. Although this is not Beazer fault it seems ridiculous that a huge company would not be willing to consider a legitimate hardship as reason to refund the money. The house was off the market for less than 3 weeks. Clearly the amount of money left as deposit would not change their business in anyway.
