We stayed at Beaver Run Resort during the CASE conference, and overall, it’s a resort with fantastic amenities at a decent price point—though we would strongly recommend timing your stay outside of major conventions if possible. The Cons & Conference Chaos: If we had known about the conference, we would have delayed our trip by a few days. Summer rates drop by nearly $100 after major events, meaning for what we paid for a standard room, we could have had a full condo. Lisa in housekeeping deserves an award for customer service. My wife accidentally left her swimsuit in the bathroom of the common area, and we didn't realize it until we'd already gotten home. Lisa tracked it down, was so pleasant to deal with the entire time, and had it shipped to us. That kind of effort is rare, and it made our trip. The rest of the stay was great too.
