RecommendedI have never had any problem's at beaver mowers.
Don’t like it when they don’t give you paperwork up front that states what you want done. ie.-I only want a tune-up for $80 (their quoted price). So you go to pick it up and they’ve done all this other work w/o your knowledge or consent. Then the bill is $150+!! Either pay or you don’t get your mower. You think this would be a one time incident? No, it’s the 2nd time Won’t ever use them again!
They are the sole warranty shop for Ryobi products in Des Moines. They have had my equipment for a month and a half (after initial expectations were 3 weeks) and over the last two weeks I get voicemail every time I call and don’t get voicemails returned. I’ve shared my concern with Ryobi directly and they also can’t get them to call back. Very poor customer service and experience. I shouldn’t have to drive to your business to interact with a business.
I have taken my small engine equipment to them and they have done nothing but A+ service. Highly recommend this establishment for your small engine repairs/service.
BEWARE!! I will NEVER take ANYTHING to Beaver Mower again! I went to have a mower repaired-The owner will tell you one price, then when you go to pick it up, the price is almost doubled!! He's rude and had no problem cussing at me when I questioned why the price went up so much! He had the mower for more than 3 weeks, in that time I called and asked 3 times when it would be done and if the original quote was the same.
