Tran has years of experience and it shows. Unlike any time before, I got a haircut exactly like I wanted. No explanations after showing her some pictures from the internet. I’m definitely coming back. Thank you Tran for making me look younger so quickly!

Wanted a pixie cut and to support a minority owned salon I sought out this small, no frills salon in Kenmore. The 'experience' was ok - no shampooing involved. My pixie cut was serviceable, like what you'll get from a barber, no styling involved. For $25, I was ok with it. The salon is small and cluttered. Two customers at a time is the max I imagine (I went solo fortunately). If you have dust allergies you may want to visit other places. Tran is wonderful. Been going to her for 2 decades. She will be honest if a cut won't work for your hair type, or how much work daily it needs to look how you want it to look, and maintenance/haircuts. She is very knowledgeable on hair types and how to get it to the style you want.

Over the years, I have had my hair done everywhere, but once I found Tran I stopped moving and became a regular at her shop. I think that was about 15 years ago ! Anyone can cut hair but Tran takes her time and makes my hair look good. ( Or as good as it can be done - which is no small challenge as my hair is very thin on the top and the rest of it curls into all directions. ) Tran is the sole stylist here so I don't have to accept whoever is on duty.
